Shift Regional is a business solution that has been designed exclusively for Australian regional communities.
The digital platform and the associated recruitment services have been built upon the intellectual property gained from over 15 years of experience in attracting capital city residents and investment to regional areas of Australia.

History

The inspiration for the development of the unique suite of digital assets underpinning the Shift Regional concept was born in March 2020. The global pandemic spurned a heightened level of interest in the benefits of living and working in regional areas, as opposed to the suburban crush of the capital cities.
The founder of Shift is Mr Shane Manley.
Shane, as the founding director of Pepper Brand Managers, has been the ‘consistent’ behind the very successful Evocities campaign.
The Evocities was one of the first examples in Australia of how regional councils could work together to attract new residents and skilled workers to their respective Cities in New South Wales.
Shane’s agency (Pepper) conducted the original research in 2006, created the brand name (Evocities), and since the public launch in 2010, has continually planned, produced, and managed the ongoing marketing campaign. Pepper has now captured, monitored, and reported on over 10,000 registered enquiries from its management of marketing campaigns for regional councils in both New South Wales and Victoria.
This experience identified the ‘gaps’ in the challenge of attracting skilled workers to regional and remote areas of Australia.
The need to ‘join the dots’ resulted in the design and construction of the Shift Regional digital platform. This unique, integrated CRM ecosystem has been designed exclusively for regional councils and their communities.
The digital architecture is also framed to encapsulate investment opportunities for Local Government Areas such as business startups, expansion, or relocation.
The business model behind Shift represents a genuine partnership between regional councils, their local employers, and the Shift team.
